Almost everyone who rode mountain bikes in the 90s and early2000s will remember Crud for arguably their most iconic product: the CrudCatcher. Well-branded, easy to install and coming in a variety of differentcolours, Crud Catchers adorned downtubes everywhere from the pro scene rightdown to kids riding around their local woods or trails.

Motorcycle chains are used under the most testing conditions, and they need to be resistant to wear, durable against fatigue and run quietly. D.I.D provides chains to bikes that compete in MotoGP, the World Endurance Championships, Motocross and the Paris-Dakar Rally so they know a thing or two about performance under pressure.

After the Crud Catcher came the Crud Claw (a tool for removing mud from the drivetrain), the DCD (a chain retention device) and the Raceguard rear mudguard alongside a few more eclectic products like the Cog Hog solution to cable routing. Fast forward to the present and the brand is still one of the best respected names when it comes to mudguards with products like their Roadracer MK3 guards for road bikes, the XL Fender fork-mounted MTB guards and the current iteration of the Raceguard, still going strong after all these years.
