Role Overview
We are looking for a positive and pro-active individual to join our multi-skilled Warehouse Management Team in our busy Milton Keynes Distribution Centres, distributing sporting goods from large volume import to fulfilment of daily retailer orders.
Responsibilities
You will be supervising a small team in one area of the warehouse, such as receiving, picking or replenishment, whilst co-ordinating with colleagues in other areas. You will be managing space, skills and equipment and use our Warehouse Management System and other reporting tools to help you to achieve departmental objectives. Driving the best performance from your team every day will be key to your success. As a wider team, you will work together to meet operational targets and delivery excellent customer service.
Our weekly rotating shifts of early (0600-1400hrs) and late (1400-2200hrs) are five days per week (Mon-Fri) and are based at one site, though occasionally move between the two sites as necessary, so a flexible approach is essential.
The right candidate will be a positive and effective communicator, well organised, able to prioritise tasks and to motivate others, ideally with supervisory experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
