Firstly, I would like to wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2025!
 
Our industry has been through the grinder since 2022 but as 2024 drew to a close we were beginning to finally see a positive trend develop. Sooner or later things will rebound and I for one believe this will start in 2025 and need to make sure we are match fit and ready to take advantage of every opportunity as the market momentum builds.
 
We are excited to welcome you to iceBike* 2025 at either the Manchester or London Velodromes and this year we have invested more than ever into the show. We have massively improved the layout, the brand booths and the depth of product on show. We have tried to curate the best show offers possible to help you kickstart the season with great products at the best possible pricing which is only available if you come.
 

More than ever, I really see this year’s iceBike* as the springboard for a new and much more positive season ahead. In business, we all have to look forward and give thought to the direction and strategy to achieve the goals you have set yourself. At iceBike* we endeavour to create a stimulating environment to help your business journey. Informative and thought-provoking seminars, visual merchandising ideas, new products and brands, conversations with brand owners from all over the world and even spending time talking with other retailers. 
 
Alongside all of this we will have our Product Promoter team at the show wanting to talk with you about how they can help you with in-store displays and staff training. This is a free service available to you, which is already valued by many customers and they are there to help you. We will also have third party service providers at iceBike* such as the Association of Cycle Traders, Bikebook, EPoS system providers and other guests who are there to help your business.

 
The big new brand addition for iceBike* 2025 is Basil bicycle bags from Holland. Many global and domestic bike brands now come with MIK racks as the OE fitted rack system which is owned by Basil. They have created not only the de facto and market leading mounting system but also the most comprehensive range of compatible luggage and accessories. Basil has been absent from the UK market for a couple of years now and so it presents a unique opportunity to relaunch the brand without the disruption of legacy stocks.
