aeroe, maker of the world’s most user-friendly bike rack and carrier system, has released a new pannier rack and receiver to streamline your commute.
9th November 2023 - The newest additions to the award-winning New Zealand-based mountain bike and e-mountain bike accessories brand, aeroe, are designed to make everyday commuting easier, simpler, and with more bag-carrying security.
Today the brand has announced a new Spider Pannier Rack and Spider Pannier Receiver are joining their unique buildable bike rack and carrier system. These provide a commute option to accompany the existing off-road and touring products they’re known for.
The Spider Pannier Rack has all of the cutting-edge functionality of the award-winning Spider Rear Rack, now with the ability to accept any brand of pannier bags so commuters can take the fun way to work. As everyday commuters will know, most pannier carriers only carry their own specific bags, making mixing and matching gear near impossible. Aeroe’s new rack makes this a thing of the past while being robust enough to take anywhere - whether that’s dropping down a staircase for a shortcut to work or for use in off-road adventures.

As part of the aeroe system, the Spider Pannier Rack provides a base layer that can also host, or be mixed and matched with all of aeroe’s other rack accessories such as their cradles, pods and other products to suit the ride ahead. It also features the same quick-release, so the rider can easily add or remove the rack in seconds, or swap it between bikes.
Along with freedom of choice, users will love the Spider Pannier Rack’s limitless rotation on two axes, allowing easy adjustment to any position or angle to suit any bike. Its unrestricted alignment makes levelling the pannier receiver easy, a pet hate of many pannier users, and the adjustable lower pannier catch can be positioned on the rack to accommodate the bags you're using. Even better, no connection to the seat post makes it perfect for small frames and allows for dropper post use.
As Design Lead, Phil Gallagher, explains, “It was important to us that we created a solution that worked just as well for small frames and dropper posts as it did for larger frames or fixed posts. In the bike accessory world, they’re often forgotten which can make for a frustrating commute or mountain bike for those riders.”
Being launched alongside the Pannier Rack is the Spider Pannier Receiver, which turns existing Spider Rear Racks into a pannier rack. Designed to be compatible with any brand’s pannier bags, the Spider Pannier Receiver keeps your panniers secure with in-built top rails and a lower catch.
