This new series of 12-speed GRX components utilizes SHIMANO's lightning-fast Di2 electronic shifting platform. The RX717 range includes a right-side DUAL CONTROL lever, two left-side brake-only lever options (one GRX-branded, the other SHIMANO-branded), and the GRX RX717 rear derailleur, which, when paired with a 10-51T 12-speed cassette, delivers the range, reliability, and shifting speed needed for any off-road adventure.

Fully Wireless Di2 Platform - Designed for ultimate reliability, the wireless Di2 system offers fast, precise shifting and compatibility with all Shimano 12-speed wireless shifters (GRX, DURA-ACE, ULTEGRA, SHIMANO 105 Di2 drop bar options, as well as XTR, DEORE XT, and DEORE flat bar Di2 models).

A highlight of the lineup is the GRX 12-speed ST-RX715-R Di2 Hydraulic Disc Brake DUAL CONTROL lever. This right-side lever offers a more affordable 1 x 12-speed wireless shifting option, combining SHIMANO’s precise shifting with powerful braking performance. Key features include:

- E-TUBE PROJECT Cyclist App Compatibility – Customize shift buttons and features
- For a simplified and lighter cockpit, pair the ST-RX715-R with the GRX-branded left-side BL-RS717 Hydraulic Disc Brake lever, which matches the right lever’s ergonomics and adjustability.
Riders already on DURA-ACE ST-R9270, ULTEGRA ST-R8170, and SHIMANO 105 ST-R7170 can also opt for the SHIMANO-branded left-side BL-RS717-LS for a lower-cost option that has the same ergonomics and feel.
